And here all you XC racers are thinking this All-Duro thing had left you by the wayside, well SRAM’s announcement of a new XC wheelset today should get you pretty damn excited. For starters it’s SRAM’s first hookless bead rim and then it’s packed with all the best features they have released in the rest of the wheel line over the last couple of years, like their amazing offset pawls in the rear hub that allow insanely fast pick up, their single spoke length throughout the whole wheelset and because that new RS1 fork is downright amazing the front wheel comes in a Predictive Steering hub as well for maximum stiffness. I had a chance to take a RS1 for a spin in the States recently and seriously that fork is ludicrously stiff. Seriously I think they could make a 140mm version for trail riding!
