A scorching day in the South brought TP riders to their final destination on the beach in Menton, where the party kicked off and both competitors and crew could kick back and take a dip in the Med after a long week in the hills.
It’s been one of the most memorable Mavic Trans-Provence events yet – more descending than ever, a first day in knee-deep snow, Nico Lau’s fourth event win in as many starts… the man is unstoppable. The women’s race has been a battle of three throughout the week, but finally it was Anita Gehrig who rode a solid Day 6 to take the event overall.
