NZ Trail Solutions are looking for trail builders to join their crews working on a MTB park in the Wairoa Gorge, Nelson. Trail builders will need to be fit and skilled mountain bikers. The work involves digging with a spade, pick and mattock, and chainsaw use (equipment supplied). The trail crew rides their bikes from the trailhead to and from the work site each day as well as test riding sections of track. They will be following a marked trail route, but will need to have, or quickly develop, an eye for picking lines and making best use of terrain features. Minimum age: 22 years.
